Human Rights Alliance Nepal is a national level umbrella body of over 1500 Nepali human rights org. The org. aims to consolidate and co-ordinate the Nepali human rights and social justice movement and is actively involved in lobbying for the protection of it. It advocates for a society that is free of violence, torture, exploitation, oppression and injustice. It was established in 1996 in the initiation of some leading Human rights NGOs. Since 1999, It was formally registered as an umbrella org. for human rights and social justice.
