Common App: Fee Waiver

Before we talk about it, watch how we fill this section out.

Do you notice that I checked the last option that says “I can provide a supporting statement from a school official, college access counselor, financial aid officer, or community leader”. This is a general and widely used fee waiver option by Nepali students. For this, your counselor (or principal) should add a letter mentioning that the application fee will be a barrier for you to to apply to colleges.

You will invite your counselor later in the Recommendor and FERPA section of the My Colleges tab. Your application fees will be waived after they submit the letter for you.
