What is happy life indicator? State the different indicator of quality of life.

Happy life indicator are those elements that ensures that an individual has lived happy, prosperous and productive life through the attainment of quality of life.
The different indicators are:
        - Small family size.
        - Quality education.
        - Birth spacing, etc.
The different indicator of quality of life are:

- Basic need oriented approach:
This approach was introduced by the ILO in 1970 AD. It was introduced replacing the traditional per capita income approach which shows that the minimum basic needs of individuals must be fulfilled to measure the quality of life.

- Physical quality of life index:
PQLI is the noneconomic measurement index of quality of life. It is the composite index of three indicators: life expectancy at birth index, infant mortality rate index and literacy rate.
Mathematically,
        PQLI = (Literacy rate + Infant mortality rate index + LE index) / 3

- Human development index:
The concept of HDI was developed by Pakistani economist Dr. Mahbub UI Hag and an Indian economist Dr. Amartya Sen in 1990 AD. HDI is computed with the help of Health Index, Education Index and Income Index. The HDI value ranges between the digits 0 and 1, where 0 indicates lowest HDI and 1 indicates highest HDI.
