Why is Kipps apparatus used instead of simple Woulfe's bottle for the production of sulphurated hydrogen?

Kipp's apparatus allows intermittent supply of H₂S (production at irregular intervals). Formation of H₂S in Kipp's apparatus is stopped when dil.H₂SO₄ is not in contact with iron sulphide. When tap key is opened the pressure in 2^ndbulb decreases and level of acid rises, bringing H₂SO₄ in contact with iron sulphides. Since intermittent supply is not possible using Woulfe's bottle, Kipp's apparatus is used instead.
