Describe the functions of judiciary.

Judiciary means one of the important organ of the state, that safeguards the constitution and subordinate laws and acts for the protection of fundamental rights of people and maintenance of rule of law in the country.

Judiciary is vital in the case of democratic country because it safeguards the people by punishing those who have exploited order of law. Supreme court saves all the cases, decisions and so on that it has solved or made for the memory and testimony in the futures. It takes support of these saved data or info to solve the cases in the future. Therefore, the supreme court is also called the court of records because all its decisions are recorded for memory and testimony.

Judiciary is called the guardian of the constitution because it has only the right to advocate about the constitution and safeguards the fundamental rights from being exploited. It also follows the proper checks and provides invigilation to safeguard peoples.

Judiciary should be given independent rights without any temptations for the protection of rights of the people. It should have been provided autonomous legislative power that can be useful in the case of precedence.
