North America is the 3rd largest continent that extends from tropical zone to frigid to zone. It is divided into three divisions in term of physical features viz the western mountain, eastern highlands and central lowland. Rocky mountain range extends from north to south in the western part of north America where climate is cool and dry. There are old and low lands in the eastern side. And there is low and plain lands between western mountains and eastern highlands where vast grassland are found.
