Registering for SAT in Nepal

Registration

You can register for the SAT exam online on the College Board Website. Go to https://www.collegeboard.org/ and create an account or sign in as a student. 

After you are signed in, you will see an option for My SAT on the homepage. Select My SAT, and go to Register for the SAT. 

Fill out each section with accurate information. Once you fill out all the required information, you will be redirected to the page to confirm your test date and test center. Select your desired date/test center and confirm your details.

Payment

For payment, if you have a relative abroad you can ask them to pay for your registration. If not, you can pay by getting a dollar card of your own which allows you to top up 500 USD a year.

You can also pay for it by visiting the head office of any A-class commercial bank like Nabil Bank in Nepal. You will need to visit the bank during office hours with some documents and cash equivalent to the amount of SAT registration in USD. The bank requires your passport/citizenship and you will be asked to fill out a form. Since the bank charges a certain amount for the dollar transaction, make sure to carry some extra amount along with your documents.
