SAT Reading and Writing Preparation

Okay, now you are ready to prepare for the SAT Reading and Writing. Let’s jump in.

Reading first. To ace the reading section, you will need really good reading speed. SAT is a timed test. You have to read passages, comprehend them and answer many MCQs. So, your reading speed is your strength. Nepali students struggle with the reading speed since English is a foreign language to us. The best way to improve the reading speed is reading books, blogs, and articles. Grab your favorite book and read it everyday. Remember, consistency is the key.

Read SAT Black book. It will share with you the strategies of tackling the SAT questions and recognize patterns in them. Get the book here: https://bit.ly/3RCsyyE

For the writing and language section, The Ultimate Guide to SAT Grammar by Erica Meltzer is the must. Read and learn from this book. Get the book here: https://bit.ly/3ATIOFI

Practice a lot at Khan Academy. Khan Academy has practice questions and sets recommended by CollegeBoead. Practice there: Official SAT® Practice | Khan Academy

After you ace the SAT, come back to this article and share your strategies in the question-answer section.
