why does AgNO3 solution become bluish when copper rod is dipped in it ?The  standard reduction potential of CU and Ag = +0.34v and +0.80v respectively.

The standard reduction potential of copper is lower than silver.
E° Cu2+/Cu = 0.34V
E° Ag+/Ag = 0.80V
The copper is oxidized when dipped into AgNO3 solution and becomes bluish.

2 AgNO3 + Cu –> Cu(NO3)2 + 2 Ag
