Two metallic element X and Y have the following standard electrode potential X equal to + 0.4 t v and Y equal to minus 0.8 t v what would you expect to occur if x is added to an aqueous solution of salt of Y? Give reason

Two metallic element X and Y have the following standard electrode potential X equal to + 0.4 t v and Y equal to minus 0.8 t v what would you expect to occur if x is added to an aqueous solution of salt of Y? Give reason

Electrode Potential of EX = 0.4

Electrode Potential of EY = -0.8

Since  EX > EY , Metal X will displace metal Y from it’s salt solution.
