Atlantic charter is the foundation for establishment of the UNO. It is the treaty signed by two important leaders of the world, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill to establish an international organization for maintaining permanent peace and security in the world. The final resolution for the establishment of UNO was signed by the representatives of 50 countries on 26th June, 1945 AD. which is called UN charter. Finally, UNO was established on 24th Oct, 1945 AD. in New York as a successor of League of Nations.
