What are Mattrab Communities?

Mattrab Communities are various student bodies established in different schools/colleges of Nepal under the supervision and governance of The Ask Mattrab Company with the same motto to bridge the gap in education throughout the country. 

The main objective of these communities is to create quality resources on askmattrab.com that are free for students throughout the country. They create notes, questions, answers, and MCQs for different subjects and publish them on our website which can be accessed by any student from anywhere for free.

Different Mattrab Communities

This is the general structure/hierarchy  of different Mattrab Communities so far:

Mattrab Community - Central: Mattrab Committee - Central is a board of executives which governs all other Mattrab Communities in different schools/colleges throughout the country. No recruitment to any of the roles of this community is made directly, only members from various Mattrab communities are promoted to these roles after completion of their class 12 on the basis of their work in the community.

Roles available in Mattrab Central Committee:

1. President: There is one president in Mattrab Committee-Central. This is the person responsible one regulating and directing all different communities. She/He'll also be acting as the bridge between the community and company's Board of Directors. She/He's also the one representing as the Community Lead in Company's BoD meetings. The tenure of Central Committee President is of one year.
2. Secretary: There is one secretary in Mattrab Committee-Central. She/He is the one dealing with all official documentation of the communities, regulating the functioning of different communities and supervising community recruitments, appointment of community heads and more. The term of Central Committee Secretary is of one year.
3. Treasurer: There is one treasurer in Mattrab Committee-Central. She/He is the one dealing with the financial matters, making budgets of events to be organized, reaching out to sponsors and maintaining transparent credits and debits of the community. The term of Central Committee Treasurer is of one year.
4. Event/Affairs Coordinator: There are two Event/Affairs Coordinator in Mattrab Committee-Central. She/He is responsible for organizing, hosting (if needed), mobilization of human resources in events organized by the community either physical or virtual.

Currently, Mattrab Committee - Central has 7 memebers.

Mattrab Community - SXC: Mattrab Community - SXC is a dedicated student body at St. Xavier's College, Maitighar. This community has members only from class 11 and 12 of St. Xavier's College, Maitighar working efficiently on different roles. This comminty has following roles:

1. Community Coordinator/Lead: Mattrab Community - SXC has one Community Lead for a tenure of one year. One of the community member is promoted to community lead after the completion of their class 11 and work as the same till the completion of his/her Grade 12. She/He is responsible for regulating the SXC community, assign works, forward the notices and announcements from Mattrab Central Committee to SXC members and more. No direct recruitment is entertained for this role.
2. Admins: Mattrab Community-SXC has various admins for different subjects. Each year, one week after the commencement of class 11, Mattrab Community - Central announces applications open for different Mattrab Communities and students studying in St. Xavier's College, Maitighar can apply directly for this role. Admins are responsible for verifying the notes/answers sumitted by different creators for a particular subject. They may also create various resources on the platform if required.
3. Creators: Mattrab Community-SXC has various creators for different subjects. Each year, one week after the commencement of class 11, Mattrab Community - Central announces applications open for different Mattrab Communities and students studying in St. Xavier's College, Maitighar can apply directly for this role. They the base of Mattrab Communities and the ones responsible for creating most of the resources on the platform.

Mattrab Community - SXGJD: Mattrab Community - SXGJD is a dedicated student body at St. Xavier's College, Jawalakhel/Godawari/Deonia. This community has members only from class 9-12 of St. Xavier's College, Jawalakhel/Godawari/Deonia working efficiently on different roles. This comminty has following roles:

1. Community Coordinator/Lead: Mattrab Community - SXGJD has one Community Lead for a tenure of one or two year. One of the community member is promoted to community lead after the completion of their class 10 or 11 and work as the same till the completion of his/her Grade 12. She/He is responsible for regulating the SXGJD community, assign works, forward the notices and announcements from Mattrab Central Committee to SXGJD members and more. No direct recruitment is entertained for this role.
2. Admins: Mattrab Community-SXGJD has various admins for different subjects. Each year, one week after the commencement of class 11, Mattrab Community - Central announces applications open for different Mattrab Communities and students studying in St. Xavier's College, Godawari/Jawalakhel or Deonia can apply directly for this role. Admins are responsible for verifying the notes/answers sumitted by different creators for a particular subject. They may also create various resources on the platform if required.
3. Creators: Mattrab Community-SXC has various creators for different subjects. Each year, one week after the commencement of class 11, Mattrab Community - Central announces applications open for different Mattrab Communities and students studying in St. Xavier's College, Jawalakhel/Deonia or Godawari can apply directly for this role. Mattrab Community - Global: Mattrab Community - Global is a group of students at different schools/colleges of Nepal. This community has members only from class 9-12 from various schools/colleges all around Nepal except from St. Xavier's College Maitighar/Jawalakhel/Godawari or Deonia working efficiently on different roles. This comminty has following roles:

1. Community Coordinator/Lead: Mattrab Community - Global has one Community Lead for a tenure of one or two year. One of the community member is promoted to community lead after the completion of their class 10 or 11 and work as the same till the completion of his/her Grade 12. She/He is responsible for regulating the Global community, assign works, forward the notices and announcements from Mattrab Central Committee to Global members and more. No direct recruitment is entertained for this role.

Mattrab Community - Central recruits 4 creators and 2 admins for each subject of class 11 and 12, 1 creator and admin each for each subject of class 10 and 9. Currently Mattrab Communities have 300+ members altogether for different roles including alumni too.
