Hi, dearest 12th Graders!
Excuse the lengthy message, can't help but hate small talk. (Frankly, who doesn't?)
These are crazy times and it is perfectly understandable the plethora of feelings you might be experiencing- fear, anxiousness, restlessness, anger, resentment, pessimism, panic, numbness, or joy, excitement, optimism, relief. Know that all of these feelings are entirely and absolutely valid. Acknowledge them, but at the same time don't let them take over you, your days and engagements, your health and peace.
Taking exams under the present circumstances is an extraordinary feat in itself. Let nobody convince you otherwise. Sure- the grades you receive matter, but know that there are things much much important than the mere letters on your transcript (which by the way never define you or your excellence, your worth and potential in the first place).
So put your best foot forward, give it your best and do not be preoccupied with the final outcome. Believe in yourself, and let the rest be taken care of.
But most importantly (and under no set of circumstance compromise on these, ever); take care of yourself and don't burn yourself out. YOU are a priority. Get enough sleep, take breaks from bulky study sessions, stay hydrated, keep calm and seek help whenever necessary.
You've got this and you will ace these tests.
We are here for you. We will always support you. And we wish you all the very best for all your future endeavors!
Warmly yours,
Your well wishers
