It was the last morning, we were sharing a table to learn some code at Surya computer lab. I said to Matt sir, I will return home earlier today. He asked why. I said I have something to do today.
Do you have a job? — he asked. Matt sir often used find surprise in our talk but this time I was planning an actual surprise for him.
I had countless good memories with him and I felt like packing all of them as a gift for him.😊 I just wanted to write him a poem but after I wrote it, I felt like decorating it. That morning I left to print my poem and frame it. On the way, someone told me that Suryans were organizing a farewell program for Matt sir. I said to myself, "Oh wow! I will recite my poem then."
Finally the moment came, I recited the poem and handed the gift over to Matt sir. My friends, seniors, and juniors were clapping in the background and I was extremely happy.
Later after the program, Matt sir offered me a hug and that is one of the sweetest moments I have lived. Today, that poem has become the best reminiscence.
I was unknown that you would be here,
