Kardashev Scale
Hello, in this age we live in the era of information and technology and today using technology our wonderful founder has created this beautiful learning platform where us students can find answers to most of the questions. But how far have we come? Compared to an alien civilization how much do you think we have achieved if there is something like an alien civilization. While I cannot assure you whether or not aliens exist but I can put forth an idea or a level to measure ourselves on this amazing thing called the Kardashev scale. There are 3 basic levels in this scale but while surfing through the internet you might find more. I will just give you a basic idea about it

Kardashev Scale I
On this scale, we use all the energy present on earth in a sustained way which trust me will be like a god-level thing for us as there will be no use of fossil fuels and all the energy used will be green. But not just that we will be able to control and predict any kind of disaster and weather patterns. Also, the technology will be on another level as we are just around 200 years away to reach this level so we are close to reaching this level if we become productive. There is also a chance of high gene modification being used in this civilization so that will be fun.

Kardashev Scale-II
On this scale, we use all the energy present in our local star aka the sun. With the help of the Dyson sphere, this will not be that hard as we can collect all of the sun's energy with no limit. While doing everything we can do in level I this level colonization of all the planets will take place with them being terraformed. Oh, and did I mention that we can move the orbit of the planets? Well, we can which kind of makes us a god. Also warp drive may be a thing by this point in time. It's been predicted that it might take around 10,000 years to reach this level of advancement.

Kardashev Scale-III
On this scale, it's the same as the second one but in this case, all of the energy of the star of the milky way is used which also means that colonization in the entire milky way takes place. it might take around a million years to reach this level of advancement.

Now the big question is can we reach even level I? 
Well, we will never know until it takes place but if you want to see this happen whilst you are alive then you should start being productive by now, remember academic excellence is not just the important thing in life. There are a lot of things to be discovered and innovated and it's not like that academically challenged kids will never achieve such big milestones. Believe in yourself and start innovating from now on.
