The process by which soap is prepared is called saporification. During saporification, sodium chloride is added in solution to increase the ironic products and decrease the solubility of the products. Soap having less density floats on the surface of the solution which are collected and kept into moulds to get soap cake. After, sodium carbonate is added to make the soap hard.
