1. Prodromal symptoms

Loss of appetite, nausea, muscular pain, constipation, aches in joints are some prodromal symptoms.

2. Paroxysm

It is the actual attack of malaria. This cycle is called intermittent fever.

a. Cold stage: Shivering cold- 20 min

b. Hot stage: 104 to 106 F fever accompanied by convulsions- 1 to 4 hrs

c. Sweating: Profuse sweating- 1 hr

3. Symptoms of malaria also include anemia as Plasmodium invades RBCs and invaded RBC is easily ruptured. Plasmodium produces Haemolysin which breaks down RBC.

4. Spleenomegaly- Enlargement of spleen

What does *7 IVI means on starting of conjugation??

I am sorry about that. I meant it as a note to myself.. "7 M" as in it's a probable question for the long question that carries 7 marks in examinations.
