The application areas of AI are:

1. Game Playing- AI is used in the field of playing games that are more logical and practical rather than only entertainment. Computer can play games as well as win against the humans in the games like Chess, Go,etc. Some intelligence programming is better than human brain. AI based games include logical thinking to its opponent and play intelligently.
2. Automated Operation- The automatic system of computer and different electronic devices are based on AI. Without any technical human being, the system automatically handles and controls the systems that are already set in the corresponding instruction with logics and mathematics. Most of the equipments now are partially or fully automated.
3. Robotics- Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, manufacture and application of robots. Robots are widely used in many fields like in space, medicine and research. Robots resembe human in thinking and working and its development can reduce the need of technical manpower in the world.
4. Natural Language Processing- NLP is a branch of AI that deals with analyzing, understanding and generating the languages that humans use naturally in order to interface with computers in both written and spoken contexts using human understandable language. NLP automates the translation between computers and humans.
5. Expert Systems- It is computer programming to make decisions in real life situations. AI based computer systems can decide and think itself for desired resutl what is to be happened. It has self deciding capacity. Eg: Automated search in google.
6. Pattern Recognition- Another application of AI with the help of which computer can detect different patterns like facial recognition, voice recognition, fingerprint detection, iris detection,etc. It is mostly used in the authentication of the users. It is highly used in the security purposes.
