What do you mean by Threshold of Hearing?

The hearing threshold is the sound level below which a person's ear cannot detect any sound. Any sound below these levels will be inaudible and any sound above the threshold will vary in loudness, dependent on intensity. For adults, 0 dB is the reference level.
