Ramsays was well reputed family in the town . In the name of sibling George Ramsay had a brother  named Tom, who was not diligent but rather paradoxical. Though he started his own business, he quit it  thinking that it was boring. He not only left his business, but also his wife and two children and went for traveling. He borrowed money from his friends when he was penniless but George continuously helped him financially thinking that he would start a new firm and settle in a place. But with the capital George gave, he bought luxuries. After some years, George understood that Tom will never settle down so he stopped helping Tom financially. Doing so, George created trouble for himself as Tom started to blackmail him. Lastly, Tom charged a fake case with the help of Cronshaw, and got the sum of five hundred pounds. As soon as they cashed the check, they both went to Mont Carlo and remained there for months.
