a. it provides vast majority of food stuff. eg; mushroom, fruits, honey etc.

b. it provides beauty to nature.

c. it attracts tourists, helping in the economic development of nature. 

d. it provides valuable information to scientists in understanding the nature of the environment. 

e. it provides raw materials for medicine, textile, leather, furniture etc.

f. it reduces green house effect of the environment.
