Why is biology known as the 'Science of exception'?
Biology is known as science of exceptions because of some exceptional cases, some of which are as follows:
>RBC lack nucleus in mammals except in camel and Llama.
>the heart of reptile is 3 chambered but crocodile has 4 chambered heart.
>all mammals are viviporous but duck-billed platypus and spiny ant eaters are oviparous. They are called monotremes
>DNA is the genetic materials in all living organisms but in some viruses like rhino virus, polio virus, HIV etc the genetic material in RNA
