Describe the physical region of South America in brief.

South America is the fourth largest continent of the world. It's western part is covered by Andes mountain Range for top north to south. According to its diverse physical features, it has been divided into 3 divisions. They are the western mountain ranges, eastern highlands and central plains. The western mountain has cold climate and rocky land, the central plains has cool climate with fertile alluvial soil that is suitable for agriculture. The eastern highlands are rich in water resources and famous for tea and coffee production.
