How do you characterise the astrologer's attitude toward the stranger?

The astrologer has painted his forehead with holy ash wrapped his head with turban and seated himself beneath a large tree. all of these things help him attract the customers. After having a few minute of conversation he could analyse the problem of his customers and help them to satisfy their needs.

The astrologer cannot give the stranger any precise details about his past. The astrologer knows that the stranger is the very same man that once he had attacked in the past and left for dead.

The astrologer advises the stranger to go home for self protection. He recognizes the stranger as man he tried to kill after a drunkenquarrel in the past. To protect himself,he advises the stranger to go home immediately.

When astrologer gets home,he tells his wife,that in the past he had killed a man. I found the conversation between the astrologer and his wife to be shocking.
